I just had the nicest thing that anyone has ever done for me occur.

About... 11(?) years ago, bear in mind I would have been like 16 at the time, I helped a couple of people who were launching their first startup by being one of the first beta testers. A friend and I both worked with them to give a ton of input, and try to help them improve it. I'm friended with one of them on facebook still. Have not talked to him since those days, so a decade+.

I posted something on facebook the other day saying "hey, I'm not usually that guy to announce my birthday, but it's this weekend, and I'm super awkward, but if, on the off chance, you were planning on doing anything, I really could just use help lightening the load of this move, so here's my paypalme link"

Written a bit more eloquently than that.

Today this guy just sends me 100 bucks out of the blue, and says he'll never forget my friend and I being their first real users and trying to help them out. I FB messaged him, as one should, and thanked him profusely, and he was so nice that I just didn't even know how to handle it.

My brain does not know how to process such kindness.

Like I'm glowing right now.

A damn near stranger I haven't spoken to in a decade just sent me 100 dollars because he knew I was having a tough time.

if it wasn't hidden to you, I guess that means you got the portuguese whitelist qual? I don't think I got the english ci's qual.

 

never done that ever... but if i got that qual somehow and me no speaka english when I do. that be some real bullshit

 

Hello. Is there a way to see if you've completed work for a requester without going through every day in the dashboard? Maybe a script that scans all your past work?
