One of the things I miss about living in SC, was that I knew a guy who loved to quail hunt, and he would show up at my house with a cooler full of quail for me, already cleaned and everything!

If you eat anything out of the ocean it's probably weirder than most mammals. Just look at mollusks and tell me they aren't weird. Crabs and lobsters look weird as hell, basically giant sea bugs.

Plus, I ate some iguana. They called it Meat of the Mountain and it was not good.

 

There are quail that live in my neighborhood. The whole family walks around from yard to yard in a big line. Makes me sad when I order it at a restaurant. Let's be honest, sadness never stopped me from doing anything.

California quail are so adorable, and I love to chase them thru the desert while they wobble away, and I'm convinced they must be even more delicious. Skeeter tries to catch them in the desert and I almost root for him to finally nab one.
