My grandma's area is on a mountain and has some really high quality homes. Features you don't see on most pre-fab stuff. The wood paneling in her house is the real deal type of stuff and around 3/4" thick. It's more like wood boards than panels and it looks great, even after 47 years. The stuff that was in my house when I moved in was maybe 1/4". Doesn't even look like real wood. I ripped that shit out first. I don't understand how it go popular to have wood up in desert houses when we don't even have trees.
