    CA is mostly transplants, I swear. When I worked in San Francisco and lived there (and near there) people would find out I was born and raised just across the Bay from The City and be completely shocked. "Wait, you're actually a NATIVE Californian?"

    There really are lots of us.

    I love New York. When I visited and hung out with friends who lived there, their NY friends couldn't believe I was from CA. Said I was way too high strung to fit their image of a Californian, lol. (Plus I can hail a taxi like a badass, which was a super handy skill while there!)

    It's just too cold in NY for me. Way too cold. Thin, California blood here.
