    I think that's part of the charm of newer games like undertale, to the moon, and even minecraft (newer comparatively speaking of course)

    Newer games that have actual graphics and complex game mechanics can be fun too, though. Undertale is nice because it's got the old-school graphics appeal + an actually interesting turn-based system. Oh and good music, I guess.
