@ChrisTurk looking through the TV reviews it seems a lot of folks are expecting bonuses from this requester (for various HITs) but there are no confirmed. This could be throwing off the hourly to a great extent....

Ohhh, yeah, we have the below freezing thing at night too. The best part about the desert is the wild swings in temp when the sun goes down! Goes from low 60s to low 30s in a hurry. The lack of humidity keeps giving me nosebleeds and making my face hella dry. Also, the fires and such.
