Reason I use DP and not HDMI is becaise the HDMI is limited to like I forget what and my monitor doesn't have HDMI 2.0

This problem started 2.5 PCs ago. The monitor wouldn't "wake up" on boot. That is PC would load and POST and all but I couldn't see anything...
PC is fixed. It took 30sec instead I sunk $500 into it. Live and learn. It's always the simplest thing.
