So my husband and I made an internet friend we found out played another game we play. So we added them as a friend in the other game too. Now we can't fucking play that game because that person WONT FUCKING LEAVE US ALONE. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. we log in they are like 'hey, wanna do X or Y?' And we're like neh, we're just chillin. THEY GET MAD. HOLY SHIT I JUST WANNA FUCKING GRIND MATERIALS IN PEACE.

That is interesting though. I thought you could block or mute the person, but doing that might get back to your other peeps. I think you should just be honest with your other friends about how much he's annoying you guys. Maybe they'll understand. But, if he's giving you guys like free gold or in-game currency... suck it up and leech off of him until the free money train ends.

 

They keep fucking HELPING us. SO FUCKING HELPFUL. Every time something new happens they come over and show us the cool shit or help us kill hard things. We can't be rude. Like, I feel like a right ash hole for being upset about being bothered since the 'bothering' is always trying to help us. Like, I really appreciate it and we do our best to be helpful back but I'm a fucking hermit and love to be alone. I find too much social interaction to be taxing on me and it drives me up the wall. I know they are being nice and friendly and that I'm the one being anti-social but it's hard to figure out what to do!

I looked and sadly no! That's why I'm so upset about it!

this is why i only play with a very select few people. they ask me if i wanna game, if i say no, they dont constantly ask me, vice versa also

offline/invisible mode is in most games these days

was JUST typing this, i cant think of any game i currently play i cant set a offline/invisible/dnd option

 

This is where buying your own personal server is the only way to happiness again. I am sorry.

I SO wish it had an invisible mode. I play most steam games in invisible for this reason!
