    I use the free Avast without all of the bells and whistles cause some of them interfere with stuff. Used the paid version of MB for many, many years and swore by it but their newest version sucks. It kept getting stuck on a scan and would stay there for days tying up my memory resources until I finally figured it out. Then tried to remove it and while I stopped it from running, can't get rid of it entirely now. Before, there were times it would catch something Avast missed. I didn't run them both all the time, but would download MB if I thought I had a problem Avast couldn't find. Now, not sure what I'll do in that case, cause MB is in limbo.
