My dog just begs for everything regardless of if it's food or not. He's all "new thing! new thing! is it edibile?" whenever I have something he doesn't recognize or start making weird noises.

Whenever my bro's gf uses the normal one (she likes it for some reason) on a can the cats always run over but this thing doesn't have that problem.

I also like it more than a traditional style one for whatever that is worth.
