Alright I thought for sure the Endor lockout wasn't in effect if the HIT expired (as you'd essentially waited the full lockout time already).. Yet here I sit with 10 zoltars all of them error msg'd from wills that expired hours ago..

Morning All. I have faced HIT-ception. This Z wants me to review a site for "Holloway Income Tax Service" - AKA HITS

 

From what I've seen, the lockout happens if endor pulls the hit up in the frame. If you never open the hit and the frame never gets pulled from their server, you don't get the lockout. And I'm fairly certain the timer for the lockout is tied to when you open said frame.

I thought it was tied to the time left before the HIT expires, which obviously makes way less sense. I tested it using YTA, and always just insta-returned as soon as I opened them to test the lockout timer.. and well you can see where I learned incorrectly doing that.. Hot damn got to learn something new today. Thank you!!

You can essentially get a 19 hour lockout on a 10 hour timer, if you open a hit 9 hours after you grab it and then return it. And that's why some people say they don't get locked out when others do, it all depends on if they actually opened the hit.
