I went and got a burrito and came back to six sicking in my queue.

 

Mine usually settle around 5 or 6 in my queue. When I don't stop working I usually don't have more or less than that. I do one, I get one.

 

I can get more than 2, but I do get more if I clear it. I think most I've had at once lately is 12 or so, but slowly.

I don't know about the timer aspect, but the first part aligns exactly with my experiences. I've had Sergeys expire many times but as long as they were accepted using a panda script (so the iframe wasn't loaded) and I haven't opened the hit, I don't get locked out.

Did anyone else have a problem with no survey code? I ended up using my MTurk ID and sending a message to the requester. VERY scared money

I was avg'ing $22/hr yesterday (before bonuses, not like he ever pays those out anymore) on them, but like you was pretty apathetic about actually doing them where I used to just sit down and crank them out.. there were (and still are) tons of houses w/ the address visible and such.. I guess throwing quarters at people is actually offensive as fuck even to Turkers lol.

Yeh, I know if it doesn't load there is no possibility of a lockout (as the HIT hasn't been assigned) I just was incorrect on how the lockout time is calculated after it has loaded. Mostly I'm quoting you to nag about the fact I never got a resolution to the bathroom status report I got last weekend..
