So, anyone trying to add the API key through the options on the HIT Finder page, don't bother, it won't work (it didn't for me) and you'll just get an annoying message in the review boxes on Mechanical Turk asking you to add the API Key. Clicking don't show again in the HIT Finder Page won't make it go away either.
However, adding your API key through the options menu on MTS works. No more notice on Finder, no more annoying brown/orange notice on Mechanical Turk.

okay so I don't see the add api key option in mts . is this an update that has to come in mts?

 

Check to make sure MTS is updated. Then go to MTS Options. You should see a text box for the API key here. There is also a video for directions on the API page itself.

 

Are you on Mturk Suite v2.5.0?
Go to MTS, Options, Scroll down to requester reviews, Do you see TurkerView API Key under Use TurkerView?
If yes, insert your API Key. If no, update MTS and try again.
