Okay, idk if I am doing something wrong or if the search on mturk just is terrible. I can serach by HIT name, requester name, requester ID and it never finds what I am looking for. Is this just how mturk is? Its driving me nuts lol

What are you looking for exactly?

The filter is defaulted to HITs you can work on. You can turn it off and see all the stuff you are not qualified for.

If you are looking for the HITs that were posted and reviewed here in the daily thread, the HIT may not be any more longer available. HITs are finite. At the bottom of the review it tells you how long ago the HIT was last seen at the exact moment it was posted to the daily thread. This is where a catcher program like HIT Catcher (part of MTS) or PandaCrazy is helpful.

Thanks! I have the qualified unchecked. I do have the catcher which is definitely helpful! I am primarily having an issue when I am just on the actual mturk worker page and I use the search function there to try and find a particular requester or HIT. sometimes it will say no matches found even if the HIT was just posted, or sometimes i just want to search the requester to see all of the HITs they have and it will come back with no results. With the HITS posted here I don't have any issues.

That just means there aren't any HITs available for you to look at, at the time you are looking. Unless there is an abundance of HITs posted by that requester, you are probably going to miss more times than not. Catcher programs are helpful because seconds matter.

If you want to research the requester, use TV: https://turkerview.com/requesters/. Unfortunately, the HITs tab in the search isn't working but...
