Yep right at 111 years old this year. They're definitely built different. It wouldn't be an issue if our shut off valve was working properly, but ya know. Better wait til the last minute to check because it's so much more fun that way. Also the one super exposed pipe has heat tape on it, but it quit working at some point last night, so it's done for. Just hoping I can keep to much pressure off it. As far as being cold, our house isn't insulated, so extra layers and lots of wood. We can keep it at about 65 ish during the day, but it gets down to 50-45 at night. Still cold as shit, but doable with layers and extra blankets. Hubs is headed to the well with the father in law in law (my sisters in laws dad they rent from us so we share the same well) so now all we can do is cross our fingers and hang on for the ride. lmao

Yep. This is why I tend to panic a little more than necessary. We are going to insulate well when we put the siding on, but siding is the last to go on and I don't want to insulate before then cause it'll just get torn up and I don't want to look like a crackhouse and attract the local "chemists".
