Sunsets look nice because of all the pollution and dust mixing together. That orange glow is something else though.

 

I'm in the high desert in the Mojave area. There's a lot of awesome camping/hiking type stuff, especially if you lurk around PCT areas and Joshua Tree or Vasquez Rocks.
