    I've been there.

    I once took milk out of the fridge, poured it into a bowl instead of a bottle, and then threw the entire container of (fresh) milk in the trash can for some reason.

    I walked half away across the house carrying a bowl of milk before my brain caught up with everything I just did.

    I tried reasoning to myself I was simply trying to teach my infant how to use a bowl very early obviously.
