It's a silly hobby but I have been obsessed for a year now.

 

I write letters to baseball players and ask them to sign cards for me. I've done it since 94. Silly hobbies help define us.

That's awesome. I have that collector gene in me so I often have to rail myself in

 

Some end up selling out fast and become insanely expensive on ebay. I love the oddball ones though like the B-horror from the 80's that get random steelbooks. Those are absolutely my favorites.

 

I love writing living ballplayers from like the 50s and 60s that they played pro ball, but that's about all they can say. Lots of them will write back letters about their memories and stuff.

It's a silly hobby, but I like it.
