What virus protection do you guys have? Do you guys pay for it lol i always use to download it for free but i feel like its harder now

 

Aww, I could definitely see that happening to me if I don't do it first thing the morning. Still a good practice, even if a streak isn't kept up.

Yeah, you get a free month, and then it's $5 a month if you want to continue. I sort of cheated and listed "pay $5 to 750words.com" as one of my punishments for failing the challenge, so I am going to pay for membership when my trial runs out in a couple weeks. If I end up keeping up the habit through April, then I'll continue paying for it for as long as I can justify the money. But really, you're just paying for convenience, quasi-community, and shiny internet rewards. There is no reason not to just open up a word document on your computer and do it for free! I may end up doing that myself if I keep the habit up long enough to not need to reminders or the extra motivation.

This is a horrible idea BTW. You're doubling the headache of updating it & good luck if people install it from both sources.

The obvious solution is to pull the one from GF entirely & force redirect it to TV. That way a ton of pissed off people show up to yell at you but are still forced to give me page views. Win/win, we get to laugh at you & I get eyeballs.

I just use Windows Defender and then the free version of MalwareBytes

Really all you need as long as you dont go around clicking every link you see

 

Windows Defender and scan with the free malwarebytes every so often.

 

yeah i guess you're right i was a 15 y/o teenager when i downloaded the scanners so you know that i definitely needed it at that time lol
