    Panos Ipeirotis has been tracking household income and other demographic info for turkers for a while. It's a moving target, as his statistics are dependent on who takes his monthly hits...still, there's a pretty significant percentage of turkers with household incomes >$100K.

    I'd wager that's the reason a lot of households with a decent income would turk, the same way someone might do freelance work on the side. Matt gets paid well at work, but still welds and restores planes and does annuals on the side for extra income like I turk. We're young-ish and want a sizable nest egg. Plus, mo money mo problems and all that.

    nothing wrong with trying to save up for later years, but in the process, we lose time with our loved ones and things we love to do, and sometimes I have found it not worth it, especially when those loved ones are gone forever... @regret so sometimes just think about things like that for a minute, just to give yourself more perspective. :)
