    It usually does because my cats like reaching inside the hole (lol) even though the balls don't work that way (lol), then they look at me all guilty like it broke and I have to fix it. I also am very good at kicking it across the room at 3am and scaring the shit out of myself.

    Dude one of mine does the exact same thing.. one paw in each side of the top "split".. then they get stuck with their paw wrapped under the bottom and give me this look like "I fucked up, human, how do I fix it?" before spazzing out until the whole thing rolls over and they can finally get away

    Dumb as bricks.

    That's what makes them so entertaining, lol. One of mine acts like she's attacking the balls from the inside of the thing. It tricked me into checking more than once because I didn't understand what she thought she was doing. She hovers over it looking down the center, stares it down, then lunges like she snuck up on it and caught it. But... there's... nothing.
