Omg - I "bought" mine from a friend's dad who was just trying to get it out of his yard. I think it was either regular gas or diesel? I do know that all the gears pretty much were the same and we had a screw-driver that we used to open the "sun roof". I got it stuck on a snowbank (out waaaaay past curfew) once and we all just got out and lifted it off lol.

 

We did also have a Volkswagen CC a few years ago but it was horrible in the snow. LOL.
Super fun to drive, but you really had to get some speed up to get into the driveway in a blizzard.
