How is the "per hour" difference calculated?

Study 1:

$0.40 — 2 minutes — "$14.55 per hour"​

Study 2:

Who all thinks that the event licensing copypasta is significantly better than the new grey clay!?

 

The specialized participant program has been such a disappointment to me. No exaggeration that 75+% of tasks have been broken and/or unclear directions. Mostly they have broken. There are little spots of wow this could be great but it is mostly broken time wasting things that have appeared with multiple wasting 20+ minutes of time ending with a return of the project to avoid rejection because there are no responses to messages.

Now everything has been changed from returned to approved with no messages. I have no idea what to think. I am going with hope and happiness.

 

On Prolific? — I've only seen one of those. Fortunately that one worked OK.

Maybe support staff quietly intervened.
Last time I reported a support issue, there was no reply but the issue did get resolved.

What's up with these HITs? It says there's over 7k available, but when I click it says no more HITs available. I know I'm not blocked because they're trickling through slowly with my PANDA.

Are you able to do these normally? When I click the hit it says no more hits available even though there's thousands left, but I can get them slowly trickling one every few minutes on panda.

 

I couldn't catch a single one without panda either. I have only caught 4 since I turned panda loose on it.

 

Well I'm glad it's not just me, but that is so odd because it says there are thousands available. Very strange.

 

Has anyone been able to successfully complete any of these HITs? The first one I tried, I rated the first 5 audio recording and then the 6th one wouldn't play so I had to return it. The second one I tried, I rated the first audio clip and then the 2nd one wouldn't play so I returned it.

The 2 cent hit is like $4.20 an hour or am I misunderstanding? I get the same error just clicking manually on mturk. I'd be scared of rejections ruining my account going after them but I guess reviews say >99% approval. You all have 10s of thousands of approvals I am guessing to buffer against a rejection batch?

I only did 6 of them in total to see how they worked and get a sense of the pay. I won't be doing any more of them.

I do have 500K HITS completed with only154 rejections. I CAN handle a cpl of rejections.
