If I'm able to clear 1k a week I'm happy, although I'm pretty sure this is the first time it's ever going to happen. I live in Brazil now so it's a pretty solid wage here.

Thankfully I'm no longer in NYC.

LOL, NYC will drain your cash in hurry thats for sure. 1k a week on here is doable some weeks but not others. Make sure you have a backup plan.

You are not allowed to turk outside of the US, if you are a US worker. But that is cool. I hope they don't find out and flag you. Just trying to help. Do whatever you want.

I turked for 4 years living in Berlin. I'm an American and not using a VPN. I've been declined from a survey twice for my location since I started back up.

I'm just telling you the TOS for mturk. That is cool though. Glad it works for you.

I've always thought there were turkers around the world, although requirements for certain tasks can vary.

You have to turk in the country that you signed up in (were a resident of) when applying.

So yes, there are many Indian, Mexico, etc turkers.

Aside from Noah, are there any other masters friendly batch requesters I should put on my include list? I got the qual for ML Researcher earlier this week and the pay for those hits is great however it seems like they don't post much. James was okay but I saw those hits maybe once this week. Anything I should be on the lookout for?

Wow, I've never heard that before. I guess it would make sense, for all those folks globe-trotting on their MTurk salaries.

I don't think the people you would want to answer this question, will answer this question. You may get a few people who don't know what they are doing post about userbob and ben peterson and what not.

Just keep checking for "HITs you don't qualify for" and do any ones that pop up that you can take a qualification test for. Some will be good, some bad, but getting as many quals as you can is always a good thing. I remember when I first started turking, I want to say 2014/2015, people were MUCH friendlier and way more helpful to newbies and so many people helped me out so much to get started, get quals, point me in the right direction for HITs and batches, etc. Now it seems like it's a very closed system and people are much more guarded against helping anyone. I'm guessing it's because there's less available on mturk in general nowadays, so less work to go around.

I personally just believe in hard work and merit to get ahead. But you can ask all you want.

All good, people used to be more friendly on the predecessor to this, mturkforum. I'll continue as is.

They did not give away batches on mturkforum. Besides with your earnings this week you are way ahead of 99.9% of the people on here. Any batches people on here gave you would be a waste of your time.
