The vets said they expected him to be a hellcat since he's a tomcat and instead he was so friendly and insisted on booping everyone he met. When he was still a feral kitten and terrified of everyone I read that doing a little finger to nose boop was a friendly greeting so I started doing that with him when I was forcibly loving him into becoming socialized (We call it Manchurian Cat-idating) and he insists on booping everyone as greeting; if you refuse him he turns tail and walks away all pissed off. The funniest thing in the world is that he likes to hang out with us whenever we are in the bathroom and he will sprint across the house just to boop you while you do your business because he's a freak and I love it. He was also completely silent for a long time and now he never shuts up- Matt says he takes after me. It took a couple of months before he decided I was worthy of his love, but eventually he turned into my little Bearnstein baby and insisted on being with me 24/7. I love his little pink nose and black lipstick wearing mouth and his little white socks. I mean, could you say no to that face either?!

Your cat is so fluffy! I love him! And I feel ya, my boys are the sweetest (Matt's cat is a Grinch but that's on him lol) and I find it weird that people expect them to be mean. Someone at the airport gave us shit for spending so much to take care of Bearnie and said " a bullet would have been cheaper," and claimed Bearnie didn't even know or care who I was and I could just replace him with any cat and it would be the same. Hmmph, plenty of us super excellent extra cool people have sweet cats that love us. I also won't take shit from a guy who spent 30-40k on an 1/6th scale RC plane about spending a few grand on my furry companion. I want to meme Bearnie with "L'Oreal Paris introducing: Giant vet bill for Bearnie. Because you're worth it," for a laugh and give it to Matt.
