We have bookshelves upon bookshelves throughout the house. My family loves books.

My wife was an English Lit major at university. Probably the single best Christmas present I ever got her (partly because it was a complete surprise, and partly because she always wanted it and never thought she'd ever own it) was the complete OED. All 20 volumes. She was beside herself that year.

 

true, from scratch, every single damn thing roasted as step one, salsa verde is everything. If you can make it right you will never want for a thing because you can put it on anything and have a line around the block

And holy heck that's a lot of words. I had no clue all the words would take up that much space. (Well, I guess there are definitions, too...)

That is a book lover's dream right there.

I want more bookshelves but I literally have no more space for them. My house isn't all that big, just a little ole 2 bedroom for me and the kiddo and my living room is like ALL windows so there's barely any wall for shelving. A fireplace takes up one large side of it and I do have a bookshelf next to that but otherwise...freaking windows and two doors!
