    We live in a small town, so houses are cheap. Our mortgage is about $100 less than we were paying for rent and we have about 1000 more sq ft and garage.. but again, we live in a dying ass town. We have one grocery store and it's probably the worst Kroger I have ever been in.

    You can live here too. I mean, not in the house with us, but there is a sweet empty house next to us that needs a new roof you can probably get for less than 35k. It is also from the early 1900s and has a wood floor.
