05/21 - Tingly Tuesday!

He's not a kitten he's like a year and a half old, he was a stray but I think he was someones cat before he's not afraid of people and generally runs from my other cats. He just gets rough sometimes like he'll claw you or bite you and I think that he thinks he's generally playing but it hurts.

What @turker said is pretty much spot on. You have to teach the cat that you aren't a full on chew toy and that aggresion isn't ok. Mine used to gang assault my feet and I had to teach them feet were bad, but toys were good! Mine will all be good boys for a treat most of the time, and I used to hand them off toys when they were too crazy town. They pretty much just grab toys on their own now out of habit.

Mind you, I break their rule about not letting them chew on you at all, but that's mostly cause Bearnie and Sheila both are fond of very gentle love bites and grooming me and I find it cute, but neither has ever bit me out of aggresion or even hard enough to break the skin. That's just a crazy cat lady preference, tho.


claws in, no aggresion, just full love derps. He used to aggresively bite as a feral kitten and I had to deal with that crappy behavior over time, cause biting is a no-no in this house! Scraggles is a bit bitey when he's upset and we've worked on that, but he's not nearly as bad as he was before.

I can't remember if this was masters or had other quals. I saw it a few times since about 4 hours ago. I don't know if maybe people were returning it or letting it expire, or if they are reposting it. I got it right off mturk no panda a couple of hours ago. it was good, 1 hour timed sections but it pays $20. you might want to panda it.
