This doesn't make sense, but does anyone know if having a super fast download speed causes problems with mturk and perhaps other sites as well?

Our internet was upgraded today, the whole neighborhood, without a choice or an extra cost. Ever since it's come back online, I seem to be having problems. I'm seeing this a lot when submitting HITS:

www.mturk.com took too long to respond.
I just tested it on speedtest.net and got a download speed of 231mbs!

It's been a long time since I last tested the speed, but I think it was under 100mbs.

 

In the past I would have said no, no problem, but with all this crazy new throttling it doesn't seem impossible that having faster internet would mean you'd run up against the stupid limit faster. Probably hard for us to say for sure, though
