    Yup, three friends. Eh, we just decided to pick a time. Think it works best for the married couple in the group, and it gives us enough time to save and plan out details. We're going for 3-4 weeks.
    I screenshotted everything you shared with me and I've been meaning to DM you at some point to talk more about what we're doing vs. what you're doing :) Just to bounce ideas.

    This particular type was 5 cents. Cam originally had a more lucrative HIT (answering the questions instead of categorizing) that was 10 cents, then 9 cents, 8 cents, then suddenly 6 cents.

    absolutely id be happy to talk about it anytime. there are precious few people that even consider traveling abroad doable much less actually make plans to go somewhere

    My high school senior trip was to London and Paris and was pretty doable price wise because of the deal the school got us. I think it seems really intimidating to people, but if you do research and look for deals, it's for sure easier to do than it sounds. Hell, a friend of mine just took off to Iceland a few weeks ago spontaneously. I was super jealous.

    Oh, I would dig it. But I'm hoping to do grad school soon. I'm east coast; just moved closer to some prime schools for my career. I would love to live abroad all over for a bit if something came up for it. I just keep getting great opportunities here in the states.
    You said you're going pretty much indefinitely, right?

    Actually, Vancouver was my goal there for a bit after an animation conference I went to up there a few years back. Not SUPER abroad, but I fell in love with it. So if any Canadians need a wife, sign me up. :emoji_joy:

    yeah pretty much indefinitely. turking is easily going to handle expenses and my future income plans are trying out a variety of online business things so i can work on them from anywhere.
    although im not sure exactly how turking overseas works. need to look into that.

    anime north? I went to that one last year. canada definitely seems like a cool place. i enjoyed it the entire time i was there

    Nice! You should talk to @lefty about that cuz he just messed with that while visiting family.

    Nah, SIGGRAPH. It's for programmers and animators, etc, not an anime con.

    I used to go to Toronto and Ontario a ton when I lived in PA, hadn't been out west in Canada til that conference.
