Boytoy loves him some Shun, so of course I'm scoping out a custom engraved one for his next birthday...men!

 

Well ugh.

On a side note: the term "Bezoars" sounds pretty bad-ass. (Even if it is wholly 100% not bad-ass.)

I'm thinking a) start using it as a verb... like out Bezoared the heck out of my steps vs. CT and b) This specially tapped fermentation juice is 100% Bezoarific compared to any other fermentation juice on the market.

 

Alright, time to bust out a bunch of burpees real quick. Was looking for a burpee GIF, but found this instead and gonna go with it:

 

It is pretty massive. I was cutting up some green beans and my dad just watched me like


I was originally looking at knives with flatter blade profiles like a santoku or a gyuto, but then I stumbled across Chinese cleavers. I was about to get a bench scrapper to move food to and fro, but I figured a knife like this would kill two birds with one stone ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You'd think it would be really heavy, but it's pretty balanced, so it feels about the same as the knife I was using before.
I'll keep that in mind about the paring knifes, but I kinda want to buy something a little extra for my next one . I've been looking at a few Japanese pettys and bunka knives.
