    also, I believe NY state (a stone's throw essentially) is still anytime basically lol. us northerners have to drink booze to keep warm in the dead of winter when it's -30 degrees out. the cold can make you... go a little crazy if you know what I mean.

    Tennessee did this too. There are exceptions to who can carry but I think the issue is that how can anyone know or enforce who is allowed to carry or not if there's not a permit saying so?

    And yeah, same for the alcohol and marijuana laws. We did just vote in wine in grocery stores a couple years ago in my city, but we can't sell alcohol on Sundays before noon. I used to work at a gas station, and summer weekends are the absolute worst because people would love to go to out to the lake and other fun things in the morning and want to buy beer to take with them, but I had to tell them I couldn't sell it and there's no logical reason why.

    But to tie the two together, we do allow guns in bars now so there's that
