Yeah hyping up other batches is a decent technique especially with stuff like Hit notifier. The least people could do is join a community or several of them to get help

There's one community that'll go unnamed that's bad with keeping secret batches a secret. I remember checking them out one day and they were playing coy about some batch. They were giving it nicknames, tagging their forum buddies, and playing games with anybody who asked them what the excitement was about.

The problem was, throughout all of their posts they gave enough clues (to me, at least) that it wasn't hard to find the exact batch they were talking about. It also didn't help that it was the very last HIT exported on the previous day's thread. It didn't take long for them to not be so excited about it. That was a good money day.

EDIT: So that's my only problem with secrets. The more and more you talk about them the more and more likely someone's bored enough to figure them out.

Me personally, as a turker, I care A LOT about the amount of emails requesters receive.

I'm sorry, I've already participated in another scientific experiment very similargr to this one. Please allow me to apologize for my grammar.

I'm waiting for the day that a requester outsources their email to turkers
