    Graduation year. Back when all the HS counselors were full of shiat, the IT people said numbers in usernames slowed bots from hacking accounts, and it just kinda stuck.

    I now use my hotmail account from when I was 16 as my spam catcher. Achildhoodnickname69 isn't very professional.
