I'm a BIG apple fan too but just for gaming I'd rather have a PC. I have a 2009 Macbook Pro, and a 2012 MacMini with a quad i7 and love them both. The Mac Mini is a Plex server and I dont have cable so thats all I watch and it has been running for 5 years without a hiccup. I replaced the drive because it had 800,000 start/stops and they are only rated at 600,000 but the HGST drives they use are great
