Why do requesters ask for my date of birth down to the day? Even down to the month seems a bit intrusive - as long as you know I'm xx years old, that should be sufficient. But dd/mm/yy? Naff off...

The worst for me is the requesters who try to get cute with having you generate a code. Combine your date of birth with your moms name and city you where born in.

Yea sure we could divulge 3 different pieces of PII. Or, you know, use 7 random numbers. Whichever. All the same.

Combining DOB with any other info gets tricky. DOB plus zip code is probably pretty damn close to being individually identifiable once you add in any other common demographic attributes like education, political affiliation, marriage etc

Good call. I drive in early when it's still dark, and there was one flood in a spot where I wasn't expecting it, didn't see it because it was really dark, hit it at full speed, and thought I was going to go off the road for a few seconds. Zero control, my car just went where it wanted to go. Kind of unnerving.

On the other hand, the majestic lightning was quite impressive. But still doesn't make up for nearly crashing.
