I meant that two completely different requesters had the same survey posted with the same qualtrics URL. I wasn't able to do both but it just seemed odd that it was posted under two separate IDs.

 

Might have forgotten the password to their amazon account? That sounds like something that @ChrisTurk would do at the very least.

 

No, sure didn't. Maybe I was just slower than you were?? I did take my time, I wasn't try ing to rush because it actually interested me. So, there were a few times I re-played the audio to be sure of my choices. That could be why it took me longer.

 

oh that would explain why it literally took you twice as long as everyone else.

 

They were posted back to back. In any case, If I don't have any reason for worry then I'll stop worrying.

I have enough buffer not to care but I normally just blame the requester unless it is on the same account or if they make it obvious etc.

I have to agree if the requester is playing musical names there's no way we can keep up with them. It makes you wonder if they are a little bit sketchy? I do try to avoid doing the same surveys over and over if I happened to notice and that sounds like I'm not very alert but there's no way for us to tell in advance it's going to be a duplicate survey until we take it. It really does become their problem at that point.

However the biggest pet peeve I have about requesters are the ones who tell us it should take around 15 minutes to do their survey, and they allow anywhere between 10 minutes or 15 minutes to do the survey. Or the 30 minute survey the supposed to take 29 minutes to be done. Oh Skippy could y'all give me another 5 minutes just so I can turn the pages gulped down another swallow of coffee? Heaven forbid I should sneeze or need to blow my nose…

 

While this may not hold true for you due to it being harder for you to fill in surveys most of those estimates are way off anyways so it doesn't matter.

Those 10 min surveys normally take me like 4 or 5min.

 

In the middle of moving a household of 8, most of the others work all the time and my granny can't help move any of her packed belongings so it's up to me for now. Still waiting for a closing date on the new house. Was supposed to be the 11th of July but we're now being told the 19th.

 

That truly was my only concern with this one. It being sketchy that it was posted under two different accounts within a matter of minutes, I mean. It still seems odd..
