• Admin is full tinfoil hat
• Users have some sort of cult like sect of inanimate object worship
• Its mturk in summer, so no real work is getting done
• Questionable levels of drinking & naughty debachery morning, noon, & night

Please, if any of you are newbies just trying to get a handle on mTurk, please feel free to ask actual Turk related questions.. there are sometimes people here capable of answering them helpfully I swear

I have money. I'm willing to spend said money on more badges. I'm even willing to make said badge and pay him to put it on. CT just hates money

 

Logically I'm right there with you. The screen on my 2013 MacBook died last year (first MacBook I've had any sort of issue with actually) and I bought a new MacBook even though I fully realized it wasn't the best decision. When the time comes to buy the next one, I'm not sure if I'll be able to justify it.

I also think the ubiquity of iPhones is taking a toll on Apple customer service. Previously you could justify the high prices because you had confidence Apple would take care of you. I dropped my iPod into the lake and took it in to see if a repair was possible. They just straight up handed me a new iPod and said to be more careful in the future. My plastic body iBook developed some cracks, probably from carrying it around in a backpack daily, and they replaced the case on it.

Now the Apple store is overrun with people flipping out about their iPhone 5 having problems. Or why they're not getting service just because they haven't paid their bill. It seems like all levels of their customer service is struggling to deal with the general helpless idiot who terrorizes front facing CS and then being able to help the next customer who purchased a luxury level product and expects that same level of service.
