anyone working on MTURK-HDR hits? Could you please suggest the laptop model and configuration for performing the MTURK-HDR hits?

 

Someone recently posted one of those hits and I asked. They said they worked on it on a Macbook. Everyone else that has HDR mentioned they spent time and couldn't figure out the settings.

I'm just curious as to what the work is and if it's worth it. I'm guessing it's high pay because it's a lot of work or you have access to HDR. I'm mostly interested in approvals right now but they're they only batches that keep coming up for me.

 

I stopped doing those HITs because they take way too long. You are rating the quality of video clips, but they make you watch the entire clip before advancing to another screen to rate it. And there's like 100 of them – along with the trial run that you have to do in the beginning, it takes me 40 minutes on average to complete each one.

 

I have a question about the ooga.io hits for anyone that's worked on them. I don't think I'm getting it right.

I tried some and is it just doing the surveys within the hit? Do you just attempt a hit then submit it? I just get a thank you for completion but no code. If I click on Submit HIT I get an error: Incomplete, we were not able to find a valid session. I don't care about the bonuses or completing a survey (unless it's short), I'm more after quick safe approvals right now, even if they're way underpaid.

They're the only big batches I qualify for right now. I usually do some Panel or MLData but I'm not catching any those at all. And I thought surveys were safe but I just got 1 rejection for submitting the wrong code. I doubt it, but I may have I can't remember.
