07/22 - Weekly Hamster Updates Wednesday

Got this in email late last night. I did not get any email previously, just the suspension notice when I logged in yesterday. I am a 7+ year worker 99% approval rate. I do not do Vacation Rentals, but kept active daily with old closed quals and occasional surveys.

if you have received the "Unfortunately, we are not able to take any additional action" please email again. while Turkopticon and VRAPI try to make contact it is incredibly important that workers make as much noise as possible.

Even if that email just says "I've been suspended without reason, my worker ID is blahblahblah, please reinstate my account or provide correspondence regarding my suspension" we need volume to show how largely this is affecting the platform.

I don't use mturk that much but there's still some good hits occasionally
Hoping it's a bug like the last few times.

Welp... Woke up to this in the mail this morning. This is just not okay, IMO.

 

Do you know how I can recover my worker ID? I would like to file an appeal to these addresses but cannot see my ID on my Mturk homepage and doubt they would take my appeal very seriously without this information in my email.

 

is it saved anywhere in your email? I also forgot my worker ID so what i did was i asked gemini to scan my email to find my worker ID and it found it.

 

Do you maybe have an old email that you wrote to a requester or one you received from them that might have your amazon ID in it?

 

next step is loot, pillage, and burn... right?
