Not to be that guy, but have you guys tried step 0 in any computer troubleshooting and rebooted your system?

 

command prompt -> ipconfig /flushdns -> ipconfig /registerdns

---or---

reboot pc

---and/or---

reboot modem

The error message is just a coin flip gamble on getting the updated DNS, that's all. Uninstalling/reinstalling is just being lucky on the coin flip lol
