Oh, I was talking about the form on MTurk itself, not on the Amazon Payments website. Idk about that one, never used it. The one on MTurk seems to be the better place to contact anyways, as they seem to actually be responding to at least some people.

It's 2024, turker, you need to finally switch from AOL mail.

 

Day 8 of amazon payments suspension and I received this email I received from mturk worker support this morning:

Meanwhile I have requesters emailing me asking why I haven't been completing their work.

 

working on prolific and this popped up


prolific is one step closer to replacing mturk, I mean they already have batches

 

well now I am all confused. I know I contacted turkopticon and amazon payments. does someone have the link to contact mturk?

 

tell them why.

 

Believe me, I have.

 

ask them to tell you what platform they are switching to, if they move to a platform other than Mturk. I asked one of my favorite requesters to email those of us who have their qual to do that.

 

I hope it doesn't come to that, and that Amazon can fix this. It's bad when requesters bail out. I appreciated when requesters sent me over to Prolific, but MTurk has also been a good source of income with closed quals.

 

Why would they be confused? I gave them the error messages I’ve been receiving and explained I am able to do $0 HITS.

 

Because they're Amazon.

I hope this means no more accounts will be suspended.

 

When CloudResearch started blocking workers with their CR#2, many requesters moved to Prolific. Researchers don't care to play MTurk games.

 

At least we are getting small updates
