I saw this meme in 2005-ish and it freaked me out because it looked like the image and concept of phone number on the tv screen might have been from 10-20 years earlier. so it seemed weird to assume he was dead. I just googled the image and it turns out that as of 2023, that guy is still, in fact, NOT dead.
