Mine just totally stopped loading after working so beautifully for a while there. And I reallllly wanted them to work. I have to get up early to get 4 new tires on the car, then drive almost 2 hours back to the hospital again. I'm sooooo freaking tired but needed something to zone out my head.

This is why cash is still king, baby. I was about to take advantage of the lull and ask how the move was going. How far are ya'll? Everything going okay? How's Bearnie? Has your body realized Matt's mother is far away and can relax now?

 

Luckily, always have cash as backup but with stuff like hotel rooms, you need your credit card not to fuck you over 9/10 times.

The move has become hellacious. Bearnie has held up very well but is starting to spazz out. All the animals are and we are ready to kill each other. At a truck stop 250 miles out. Gonna eat this baconator and try to nap for an hour in the parking lot so we can finish out the last of the drive.

Matt's mom is still calling and texting me nonstop so it hasn't sunk in yet. I'm sure once we are moved in and caught up on sleep my body will realize that his scary mother can't show up in 30 minutes "to surprise us," anymore.

 

It's working again..

 

We moved to San Diego in 2011 for two years (back east again for now) and we drove across country with four dogs in the car and my fiance's sister... absolute hell. By the time we got to Arizona his sister swore that California didn't exist. She swore we were just driving in circles.
