I was wrong. I thought his fur had more curl to it in the last photo but after seeing this photo he's definitely not a Chesapeake. I know he's from the shelter so if they didn't give you any background info or breed info on him, then do a google image search for flat coated retriever puppy because I am almost positive that's exactly what he is. I used to dog sit two of them and they have the best personalities ever. I wanted one before I adopted my dog but they're really hard to find where I live so I adopted a lab instead. They're great bird dogs so they're more common in the midwest and southern states.
