my goal for today is $119 on a sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm off to an okay-ish start considering that I fell asleep for hours after I had turked for 2-3 hours this morning!

@QualifyForBigPayday what is your bare minimum of what you need to make per day or week to be okay?

    $30

EDIT: Well bare minimum if everyday would be $20, I have bills of $455+groceries which I think is $40-60 every 2-3 weeks.

Boy, I can't wait until I finally get Masters. Though I am far from it now, it's creeping in slowly! I'm lucky to get 20-30 bucks in a week. It is getting better as I go along, but it feels like I'll never make it. lol

do you have masters? if you have masters and you get the lsvfr qual or whatever it's called and don't lose it and incorporate getting new quals into your routine, you can make $20/day except don't count on weekends, they can be hit or miss. so that would be $28/day if weekdays only, and you would have to make $28 on holidays and near holidays and federal holidays that are on weekdays. I just don't turk enough these days to know if that would be reliable enough for $28 every single weekday ever. especially without masters and given that you probably don't have lsvfr or whatever yet. other people could be more certain.

last I knew, they stopped giving out masters years ago. but other quals are worth a lot more than they used to be.

there are usually the most people here on weekday mornings, especially mon-wed. or mon. and tues. you might want to ask if $28/day weekdays only or $20/day including weekends is possible with your quals/lack thereof then. to get the most perspectives. but idk it's pretty slow on weekdays here too, maybe some other people will give their opinions today or tonight.

If they've stopped giving out Masters then why are there so many HITs that require it? I'm just now creeping up on 5,000 accepted HITs which should open some doors. I wish I knew what quals I needed to get and where to get it.

you guise I just adjusted the heights on the shelves of this bar cart to accommodate my legs under the shelves when sitting. for reference I'm 5'8". if taller than me or you have long legs, you will need a cart with more distance between the floor and the bottom part of the lowest shelf. or if using a higher bed or chairs to sit on. I'm using it while sitting a low bed, somewhat low/small chairs, and while standing. I would put some 2x4's on the top shelf if using it as a standing desk for more than 5-ish minutes.

so it is now a standing and sitting desk with wheels. I can turn it away from glare from the sun during the day or indoor lights at night. and the real reason for it is that now I can wheel my entire turking desk to wherever I can turk without having to disassemble and reassemble my computer, whatever peripherals, coffee cups, kleenex, phone, whatever else I have with me while turking. and when I need to keep an eye on things off the computer or am just going back and forth to the computer, I can stand and turk.

the whole cart is rickety and 1 of the wheels sticks a little, so I have to be really careful when pushing it. and I have to remember to unplug the computer from the wall so it doesn't go flying off the shelf when I push the cart.

but this whole wheels on the lightweight $50 moveable indoor/outdoor sitting/standing desk thing is awesome.

imo this thing should be standard issue with a reasonably okay laptop and a programmable gaming mouse for intermediate turkers and above. I'm rolling it around now lol! :)

edit: to be clear, I adjusted the bottom two shelves to be way high up so my knees and feet go under it like how a desk is. it's too rickety to not use all 3 shelves, because they make the whole thing more stable.

I'm not a gamer, but I program the buttons on my redragon gaming mouse and sometimes change the cursor speed. it's necessary for batches, especially since I turk a little slowly compared to other people. makes turking go fast! I have a redragon programmable keyboard where I program macros too. there is room on the desk to have laptop, a board I put the mouse on on the top shelf. keyboard will have to be on shelf two, or be pulled out onto my lap. my keyboard is really big lol.
