any ideas why 6 tabs of chrome is causing my computer to have 23 instances of "chrome.exe" in my process list? My computer is running stupid slow.

 

I believe Chrome extensions have their own Chrome.exe

 

980ms and 900ms for GoHam mode, is that the fastest it goes?

 

Each extension also uses a process as well. If you press Shift + Escape, you can see Chrome's own task manager (instead of Windows') and see what's taking up the resources.

No you can edit PC to and lower GoHAM to as low as 500ms but obvously that generates like 1 PRE for every 1 search.

Are you doing a search panda with the csat requester by any chance? If so thats probably why you're not getting anything.

OMG that breaks my heart for you . I hope they eventually turn up. Honestly, I've watched documentaries that have shown cats being able to find their owners after being left behind in moves and travelling across country. I mean, it's not likely, but it seriously does happen a really freaky amount of times without the cat ever even being familiar with the new place. Wayyy more likely scenario for you, I hope someone back in your old area finds them and gets in touch with you.

A few years, but that was after a year or so hiatus in them handing any out. Some people get them sooner than others...just kind of luck of the draw.
