Anybody have any ideas why I can't get TTS alert to work on OW or the voice alert on HF
I'm hearing other alert sounds and like the beep for a new hit and all the alerts from PC so don't think it's my computer

That reminds me that we totally have a Berenstein Bears thing going on with her name. Everyone here calls pinterest's AI thing Sophia but according to all my searching and @Melting Glacier's last time I brought this up it has always been Sofia.

 

Has it ever worked? If it died it was prob just the TTS engine dying in chrome so you need to restart chrome. Typing chrome://restart into the address bar thingy will restart chrome.

 

It did work noticed it wasn't working yesterday but thought it was something in the settings and didn't have time to mess with it till this morning

 

Well try restarting chrome and see if that fixes it.

 

Hence the obvious need for an obscure and rarely maintained dictionary of our ever-evolving short codes (synonyms) for different requesters and the HITs they post.
