So I thought I was doing a horrible job with Rowan HITs because he felt my responses were too generic but he still gave me a 4/5. I definitely need to work on improving but he's generous.

I did about 5 of those and was told I did them wrong, one specifically that he singled out I did exactly as in the video,and was told "not what I'm looking for"
I don't do those anymore.
Sounds good for you though, they say he is a good requestor.

I'm usually asleep by now, but I'm just peachy, how are you? getting that approval rating up?

 

I'm pretty good, won 1st place at my most recent rifle match. Still pretty excited about that. As of tonight my approval rating is back up to 99.01%.

Don't feel bad. I am down to 1/5 on them. I tried but I guess we don't see eye to eye on the sentences.

 

Trying to decide what I should do tonight.. Need to make a form at work to track fire drill related stuff first, but then I can either do a massive amount of A9s to work towards that 5000 or do Rowan HITs. Any thoughts?

I had to stop doing Rowans when I found myself mentally adding questions, answers and rationales to everything around me.

Like, I saw this hideous ogre in the bathroom and mentally started writing the question, "Why is the ogre holding garden shears?" with the answer "He's going to clip his toenails." and rationale, "Thick gnarled toenails require cutting implements with more leverage, which sturdy bladed tools made for yard work often provide."

On a related note, I've also made more of an effort to avoid looking in the bathroom mirror.

Seriously, props to all of you still doing Rowans. I noped out with the whole "have other turkers judge you" bit, but even before, they're mentally draining if you're doing them correctly. The surgeon general notes they can also cause cancer, since even people who've quit smoking start back up when doing them. And drinking, because not all of us are as strong as @SAJ. (To be fair, Rowan's not the only reason I drink, but it's definitely a Possible (25% to 75%) one.)
