(Once, when he was like in Kindy, he barged in and then asked all innocent, "Do you need me to hand you a pad, mom?" Uh. No. I need you to get the fuck out of my bathroom. And then we never speak about this again, okay?)

When my son was younger he asked me how one worked. Like, legit curious before he was old enough to be grossed out by it and while he was still young enough to have no clue about females. I was a bit stumped on how to explain it to him.
